Once the decision was made to develop this beautiful ranch into homesites, we had some difficult marketing choices to make. Do we offer roughly the same product all other developments offer: 1-2 acre homesites with a water system; OR, do we offer a product that, for the most part, hasn’t been available around these parts for almost two decades – large spacious 5-10 acre homesites. On the one hand, the financial return to the developer would be much greater by selling all 1-2 acre lots. On the other hand, we had a unique opportunity to bring back a product that almost no developer offers, and at the same time preserve the rich beauty of this remarkable hill country ranch. After much thought and planning, we chose to go with the larger 5-10 acre tracts which allowed for other unique possibilities as well. Because of the size of our homesites, the country approved the use of individual water wells instead of a central water system. This allows each owner to control his own water usage, without the expense of a monthly water bill! The size of our homesites also provides for a maximum of flexibility and privacy in deciding on where to position your home. You have room to spread out and enjoy a lifestyle seldom found in most developments. Have you or your kids ever wanted to have your own horse? While most residential developments restrict you from having a horse, we welcome horses and other approved livestock in reasonable numbers.
